About the Trainer

Asjad A. Usmani holds a Master’s Degree in Training & Development and pursuing Doctorate. He has completed his B. Tech major in Computer Science & Engineering & MBA in Training & Development. He is the trainer for PMP, ACP, ITIL, RMP, CSM, PRINCE2, Agile, Primavera, MS- Project, Six Sigma etc. He is a Certified PMP, PMI-RMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile, Certified Scrum Master, Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt and ITIL. He has trained Project Managers, Team leaders, Business Analysts, Agile Practitioner, QA across Singapore, Dubai, Bahrain, and India. His workshops are interactive, fun and free of boring PowerPoint.
He has extensive project management, Agile and LeSS transformation experience with large scale project and product development, coaching Sr. Leaders, and helping enterprise level. He worked as a software professional for several years involving the full software development life cycle with extensive experience of Project Management in prestigious IT companies in India and abroad while projects spanning across various technologies. He has been working as a freelance corporate trainer and Management consultant in project management more than a decade.
He conducts courses for PMP®, PRINCE2®, ITIL®, PMI-RMP®, Agile, Scrum, Six Sigma, Primavera, and Microsoft Project. He has designed and developed the course curriculum and courseware for various domestic and international clients. What is the Criteria for PMP Application?

With Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or global equivalent), you require a minimum five years/60 months unique non-overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 7,500 hours were spent leading and directing the project* 35 contact hours of formal education With four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or global equivalent), you require a minimum three years/36 months unique non-overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 4,500 hours were spent leading and directing the project* 35 contact hours of formal education.

As PMP certified professional, you need to renew the certification once in 3 years. The criteria for renewal is collecting 60 PDUs (Professional Development Units) for 3-Year period. This PDUs can be acquired by delivering management training, attending PMI or Other recognized training as well attending PMP chapter conferences.

In one year, a candidate can attempt maximum 3 times.

PMI membership is not mandatory but this comes with no extra cost for first year. As PMI membership fee is US$139, and PMP exam fee for member US$405, non-member US$555. You effective save $150 taking PMI membership.

Yes. You may print your copy of PMBOK handbook but you are not allowed to distribute it as per PMI license agreement.

PMI-ACP® Certification

Eligibility:

To apply for the PMP Credential, you need to either: Possess a Secondary Degree (High School Diploma, Associates Degree, or Global equivalent) with minimum of five (5) years / 60 months of unique (non-overlapping) Project Management experience, with 7,500 hours in leading and directing projects, and 35 hours of Project Management Education.

Possess a four (4) year degree (Bachelor’s Degree or the Global equivalent) and a minimum 3 years of Project Management experience, with 4,500 hours in leading and directing projects, and 35 hours of Project Management Education.
